Programs and Services
The Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas is proud to offer the following programs FREE of charge to our members and their siblings. Download the Program Guide; or view below, and scroll down to complete the registration online registration form, so we can give an accurate count to the instructors to fully prepare for the class. The registration must include: parent name, child's name, child's age, address, phone number, email address, specific class and the time of the class. We will make every effort to ensure you get the class(es) you would like; However, if class size must be limited, enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. (Not all services or programs below are sponsored by DSACT. We hope you will enjoy the programs, services, workshops, or group meetings we have listed.)

Monthly Social Programs by age group:
InkDots (0-6 years)
InkDots is a free social playgroup for children with Down syndrome between the ages of 6 weeks and 6 years, their siblings and caregivers. Please join us the first Saturday of each month to play and socialize. This year, there is an added educational component to the social playgroup. We are dedicated to bringing you information about development as well as local resources and services. Each quarter, we will focus on hot topics surrounding early childhood, such as speech, communication and motor skills. For more information please contact DSACT

KiDSact (7-12 years)
KiDsact is a DSACT group for 7 to 12 year olds. We welcome you to join us. For more information please contact DSACT

Teens (13-20 years)
The DSACT Teen Group is a social group for teens with Down syndrome between the ages of 13-20. We meet on the second Friday of each month from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at a local YMCA to build social skills, have fun with friends, and dance. A recreational therapist facilitates the group. Parents are welcome to stay or drop their teen and return. There are also community outings for typical teen activities like swimming, bowling, and going to movies. We welcome new members! Adults (21+)
This group is for adults with Down syndrome aged 21 and up. Programs such as cooking classes, swimming, horseback riding, etc are held throughout the year. Please see the current newsletter for more updated information and events. For more information please contact DSACT
