Jean Louis has been capturing the true personality of children and adults for over 30 years. She developed an interest in photography at an early age spending hours in the dark room with her father, Fred, an avid hobbyist. Jean's interest in photography led to a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography from the North Texas State University. She worked her way through college as an event, wedding, and portrait photographer and landed a job with a successful commercial photographer after college. Here she learned the many tricks of the trade. She then turned to the semiconductor industry where she worked as a Staff Photographer creating executive portraits and images for technical documents, international publications, and annuar reports. It was after having her own children that she found her true calling. She opened her photography business in 2004 and has focused on environment portraits of children and their families.

Jean Louis lives in Austin, Texas with her husband Mark, their sons Chris, Harrison, and Robbie, and a Beagle name Annie.
